Our studios are located in Teays Valley, West Virginia in the Lanham O’Dell Complex, across the street from Valley Car Wash.
 
Your use of each studio includes a place to store your belongings, bathrooms, yoga mats, towels, complimentary water during instruction, as well as yoga blocks and blankets, resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells and so much more to give you the best class and workout!

Our class days and times vary, offering both heated and unheated instruction.

Pilates Reformer

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Pilates Reformer Studio

PILATES is a posture based system of exercises designed to improve physical conditioning, rehabilitate injuries, promote balance, grace, and efficient movement to make daily life better. Key principles are breathing, centering, concentration, control, flow and precision. The whole body and the mind is strengthened by a consistent Pilates practice. At Moxie, pilates reformer/equipment and mat pilates classes are offered.

The PILATES REFORMER is a resistance based machine that strengthens and lengthens the body offering support and resistance for a full body workout. At Moxie, we have four reformers to one instructor. This class is appropriate for all levels. The reformer springs can be adjusted for each individual.

Mat Pilates

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Mat Pilates Studio

At Moxie, pilates reformer/equipment and mat pilates classes are offered.

 

MAT PILATES classes are low impact exercises with controlled and mindful posture based movements to strengthen the core, improve flexibility, balance and tone the muscles. Strengthen the body and the mind with a consistent Pilates practice. All fitness levels are welcome.

Yoga Studio

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Yoga Studio

YOGA is a mind and body practice that combines physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and mediation or relaxation between the body, mind and spirit. Modern yoga can be practiced daily to improve flexibility, balance, strength and mental well-being. Yoga brings a deep community connection and vitality, leaving each class feeling grounded and peaceful.

 

At Moxie, we have heated (infrared heat) and non-heated classes. Vinyasa Flow, Candlelight Yoga and Restorative Yoga classes are three of the Moxie community favorites. Whether a seasoned yogi or just starting a yoga practice, you will be welcome in our community.

Strength Studio

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Strength Training Studio

Moxie Fitness specializes in group STRENGTH TRAINING classes. We know lifting weights increases muscle mass, improves bone density, boosts metabolism, enhances balance, boosts brain health and longer lifespan. Using dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and other equipment to create resistance on your musculoskeletal system for a creative and fun experience. Each instructor brings their own Moxie vibe and beginners are always welcome.

Barre Studio

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Barre Studio

BOOTYBARRE® is proudly taught a Moxie Fitness and each instructor holds a certification. BARRE combines the precision of Pilates, the flow of dance, and the active flexibility of yoga with high-energy power cardio moves that will tone and truly transform your body. Moves can be modified for beginners. 

Cycling Studio

Moxie Fitness is YOUR Indoor Cycling Studio

Moxie INDOOR CYCLING boasts a blacked out room with lights flashing to the beat of the music. Cycling is low impact, improves cardiovascular health and builds endurance. Your instructor guides you through the beat adding choreography, intervals and sprints, hills and valleys. Beginner friendly. 

TRX Studio

Moxie Fitness is YOUR TRX® Studio

Moxie Fitness is the only TRX® studio in our county. The TRX® SUSPENSION Trainer enables one’s own body weight to be used as leverage to constantly engage muscle groups for each exercise performed in a class. Prepare for a full body workout that increases core stability, overall strength, mobility, balance and endurance. The TRX® group classes at Moxie Fitness are small for more personal instruction. Beginners are welcome. 

Private Training

PRIVATE TRAINING at Moxie Fitness offers a personalized, supportive approach to movement with training options that fit every lifestyle. Whether you prefer one-on-one private training, semi private training, or the energy of your own small group, we deliver expert guidance in any fitness modality.
